Great socialising day for Astro...

We went to the park today where we had an amazing walk We met many dogs today, and Astro even got to play with most of them. We met a few collies, a few different type of terriers (sadly I don't know much about small dog breeds), a beagle, a westie, labs, goldies, poodles, and we also met an Irish Wolfhound. It was AMAZING!!! Little Astro was about the size of its face He tried to play with it, but I'm surprised it even noticed Astro lol.

He also stole a collies ball, but thankfully the collie was happy to share. He insisted on running in the grass (plus mud) instead of the pavement. He ended up BLACK, but luckily he's too cute to be angry with. Almost everyone stopped to talk to him, which again Astro loved. Also went to P@H for food until our DAF order turns up, and he met a few dogs in there aswell, but he was more interested in the bones.

Sorry I didn't take many pics, but I was too busy laughing at him running everywhere:

He goes on a normal leash on roads, and on a long line leash in the park. I could never trust him off leash as his prey drive has kicked in I don't mind as long as he is happy.

Thats a shame. Flexi leads are quite good as the line doesn't get slack and end up in mud like a long line will. Just a thought

A flexi is what I use, but I totally forgot the name lol. Mals are known for their high prey drive so i wouldnt trust him unless it was a safe area.
