Re: Soooo excited :D

A day in the life of monty; I arrived at a new house this morning, and was very scared I cried alot, then saw a big doggy who I thought would be my friend so I jumped all over him, but he got angry with me so my new mummy put a special collar thingy on him and told me to calm down. She took me in the garden and I did a wee wee straight away, she told me I was a good boy I played with my ball and saw my new bed, and needed a wee wee again but forgot to tell my new mum so I did it in the hallway, she was a little bit angry but didnt shout, she just told me I have to go on the puppy pad or in the garden! Then I went and saw my new mummys friends, they live just round the corner they gave me lots of cuddles and kept saying I was 'cute', my new mummy carried me there because Im lazy! Then I came home and mummys other dog, Woody had a nap with me, we both layed on her bed and took up ALL the room! This time he didnt shout at me, I think it was because I was sleepy and calm. Then we had dinner but I didnt just want mine, I tried to eat Woodys and the cats! Mummy told me I wasnt allowed! Ive just had a play with Woody we were play fighting and he didnt hurt me, but he did tell me to calm down a few times! Then I needed a poo poo and forgot where to go so I left my mummy 2 big presents in the hallway AND kitchen! So she had to clean them up! I also keep playing in the cats litter tray, its fun i get to dig and dig, but mummy tells me Im just making a mess and need to stop! Now I'm going to go and have a big sleep on mummys bed before she goes to bed and I have to go downstairs in my crate!

Eugh, typical "I bought a puppy and have no idea what to do with it, don't they already come house trained?!" senario!

Well at least you've got a gorgeous little (I have a Chihuahua, I really shouldn't say that) puppy out of it. I'm so glad the little guy wasn't dumped or stuck back in a rescue for years, he has a lovely owner and he's very lucky

Re: Soooo excited :D

Awe he's adorable and Woody is just making sure the lil guy doesn't get carried away and take liberties - very sensible Woody and a good boy by growling to warn him.

I just adore puppies (don't we all?) and I think it's great you get to help train him and choose his new home. What a lucky little boy he is.

Re: Soooo excited :D

Monty has found a home! House check was done, they are a brilliant family! He is off on Friday, now I'm trying to persuade mum to let me foster his brother as his family no longer want him and his far to young to go into kennels!!
