Im thinking about getting Indi-Dog 'out there' a bit more and getting noticed, so have been thinking about having a stand at some of the shows that are about

Im sure a lot of the members on here have been to one of the All About Dog shows? there are 3 a year in various counties, quite big, my closest one is at the suffolk showground, thousands of visitors and lots of attractions, I went last year as a visitor and entered Keyu into a few things

Well Im thinking about having a stand this year, Im hoping to stand share a 6x10m space with IndysMamma, the lovely lady who makes the snuggle beds and toys, but if this isn't possible and I couldnt find anyone to share with, I'd consider a smaller stand on my own

If we manage to share it would be just under £140, so in theory I'd need to sell:
28 collars
23 regular leads
10 harnesses
or 7 belts

to break even

doable I think? Even if I only break even it would be worth it for the publicity and future website sales

Im quite excited about the thought of it, obviously it will be hard work making the stock etc, but I think its definately something to consider doing!

Won't be going, but that is VERY exciting....even if you don't sell enough to break even on the day, folk may go home and think about it then order later or even mention you to friends.

Good luck, I haven't done a stand for ages. If you can afford it, get yourself a vinyl banner printed up with your name and logo, well worth it as, if you can get it somewhere high up, it will get you noticed. I think mine cost me about £50 for quite a large banner, something like 2.5m x .5m, full colour, although mine isn't that colourful, just got my website type of colours on there, so grey and blue

Ok, Indysmamma wont be able to do it this year, would anyone like to stand share with me?

It is £137.50 (each) easter sunday and monday (i dont know if the price is for one or both days but can find out!) and we get a 6m front x 10m depth space, so 3m x 10m each, I can provide gazebos etc, 6ft tables are £8 + vat to hire

I'm so gutted I can't afford the stand this year I will hopefully be able to get down to look around for one of the days though so can come say hi - but with finding somewhere to stay/travel and stall costs I don't have enough notice to get the funds or stock together (have 2 cat shows already booked March/April also eating into budget)

if I can get down with Barney though can have a look at your fab stuff for ourselves hopefully someone else is able to share and I definately want to go next year

Sid&Kira can I recommend you get yourself to flyball competitions as they would be a great place for you or even agility shows?

Let's put it this way I'd buy from you.

The British Flyball Association championships is in August and that would be a great event for you aswell.
