My puppy pee in my older dog bed!!!

My new puppy Neci is peeing on the other dog's beds! I'm pretty sure that she isn't desperate to go as I have taken out her outside just prior to one event. She peed a few times already on Pixi bed and then peed on a newly purchased bed once or twice. Is this marking behaviour and if so, why? What can I do to keep her from doing this?

Re: My puppy pee in my older dog bed!!!

Been there done that.

Clover kept doing it to Duke's beds when we had her. Don't know the reason why but we just didn't replace the beds until this christmas with her being older.

Unfortunately our beloved Clover pee'd on our bed several times too.

She seems to have outgrown it now thank goodness.

How olds your pup?

Male or female?

Re: My puppy pee in my older dog bed!!!

From reading your other post on a different thread, it seems your other dog is 13 months old and you have never trained it not to pee in the house. You live in a room in your parents house with your boyfriend and 2 dogs...that apparently have destroyed the room. Why anyone thought a puppy was a good idea is beyond me.

But, to the point. TRAIN them both. There is plenty of advice on here on how to do it, and plenty of people to help. It just seems to me that perhaps you're waiting for a miracle rather than doing the hard work? Sorry if that seems harsh, but you have (according to your other post) had the first one for 9 months?

Puppy training classes for them both perhaps? Start from scratch. And good luck.
