dog sneezing

My dog is sneezing a bit over the past couple of days. She is otherwise fine and eating, playing and toileting as normal. She is still recovering from a serious illness since just before Christmas and our last vet visit was on 23rd Dec but he was happy wit her so she's not due back. Is sneezing in a dog serious?

Re: dog sneezing

If its not continous sneezing then likely nothings stuck, which can happen.

If its just intermittent bursts of sneezing then something could be irritating her.
have you used an different cleaning products, airfresheners, washing powders etc.?

They can also like us get upper respiratory tract infections, so the sneezing could be that. As long as there is no discharge especially if thick, or green or yellowish, and she doesnt develope a cough as well that especially may sound congested I wouldnt worry too much likely it will pass. Any other signs developing though or she becomes lethargic and uninterested best to get it checked out.
