A woman I know is working with a young man who has become homeless through no fault of his own, he has no issues of mental health or addiction and is being refused formal support.

He has been offered a hostel place but can only take one of his two dogs. She managed to get a small amount of money for kennel fees and they went to pick them up and he found both dogs in a terrible state. They have been neglected, compounding his desire not to give them up and stay homeless.

***Edit*** I have just been informed that Ruby has been placed in a foster home but the dog friendly hostel place has fallen through so Kesha needs somewhere to live too.

Try asking on Animal Lifeline UK or Rescue Helpers Unite they have a mass storage of emails of volunteers over the country, they can put a word out to all volunteers in your area to see if there would be a foster ohme, or even a rescue that could send the dog to a foster home.
