Re: do your dogs have clothes?

I put outdoor/indoor clothes although technically its only one dog and she only wears clothes when out!!
Heidi always wears a coat through winter coz she is a shivery little thing. I dress her for the weather though not my amusement so she has only needed her coat this year. During the really freezing weather last year she needed t shirt, jumper and coat then she could only walk for about 20 minutes before I had to shove her down my coat!!

Re: do your dogs have clothes?

No pics people?

Rupert has a fleece, as Dobermanns are very suceptable to the cold. I put it on him if we're going out and he's not going to be moving around alot.

They both have barbour raincoats I just love how they look, they keep them dry and are pretty cheap at about £30 each.

Do halloween costumes count? I introduce you to, COUNT DOGULA

Re: do your dogs have clothes?

Sandy only has a grey 3 peaks raincoat. I think she would look cute in a jumper of some sort but I am not overkeen on dogs in clothes but a jumper would be practical!
I have seen a red t-shirt with a black and silver sequinned (sp?) hood with skulls on, unfortunely red would clash with her fur

Only when its really cold, they have exercised and then stood so i take their coats and put them on then, they are just plain warm and waterproof, I hate dogs been "dressed up".

The middle picture is the type of coat mine has, they are enough for me, not into fleeces, hoodies ect they just look riduculous to me.

Re: do your dogs have clothes?

Oh, I just realiesed my dogs are wearing clothes in my avatar and siggy pic!! and its not even the one that wears a coat out!!LOL

I should point out though that the badly fitting jumpers they are wearing actually belong to the bald cats you can just about see in my avatar pic. We only dressed the dogs in their jumpers for our amusement and a photo op!!

Re: do your dogs have clothes?

Mine have indoor fleece jumpers (Hotter Dog) and Alfie also has one for really cold, or slower paced walks.

I used to use a rug style coat, but it wore Alfies fur around his shoulders, and it restricted his movement a bit, and didnt cover his chest and belly, which are as bald as a babies bum.

Wish id found the fleeces years ago, would have saved a lot of red raw skin
