Kong Wobbler questions

Just a couple of questions for those of you with Kong Wobblers:

1) they seem to be quite big - would a 6kg dog be able to knock it around enough to get the treats out do you think?

2) Would it work with Ziwipeak dried food? It's like pieces of cardboard about 1cm square.

Thanks

Re: Kong Wobbler questions

I think a smaller dog would be able to knock it about they are fairly easy to 'wobble'
As for the food im not sure something flat or square would would work? Bit I've never seen the food you use so unsure
The opening is slightly higher than a 10p piece and maybe just over half as wide?
Hope some of that helped

Re: Kong Wobbler questions

My dog is the same size as the average westie and he loves playing with it...and that food is fine!

She'll love it - get one! They are noisy though!!

Re: Kong Wobbler questions

My 7 kg little man can use our Kong Wobblers fine - and we have the regular sized ones, I think they do a version for small breeds too now.

Hmm, yes, I think it would work with the Ziwipeak dry - I've used chopped up Ziwipeak treats in ours before and it worked ok - although not as good as small-bite kibble or small, hard treats.

Re: Kong Wobbler questions

Great, thanks everyone, I think it will be my next doggy purchase (my mum said the other day that I must be running out of things to buy her because she seems to have everything imaginable!)

I sometimes give her orijin kibble so if the zp doesn't work very well I'll use that

Re: Kong Wobbler questions

Mine love their wobbler, although they are larger than your dog, but I don't think she will have any trouble playing with it.
I use small dog treats or kibble in mine

Re: Kong Wobbler questions

My pup played with his at 8 weeks so yours should have no problem knocking it. The opening will fit most small treats. The wainwright treats come out it easy.

Re: Kong Wobbler questions

Zeb LOVES his wobbler - I put his Burns dried food in with some mini treats from PAH. I would definitely recommend them but agree about the noise, Zeb has a habit of knocking his into the fireplace and then skirting boards!!

Re: Kong Wobbler questions

The cresteds (5-6 kg)
Love the kong wobbler

The ziwipeak will go in fine, might be bit harder to get out but could just make it a more fun challenge, in fact I might try it in mine as it doesnt take them long to get it all out at the mo

Rupert lovveeess his wobbler, keeps him entertained for quite a while

Welcome to Facebook

I think the pieces you've said should be fine, they'd just be more difficult to get out. You could break some bits down in half and make it more fun, so he doesn’t get disheartened if the whole ones take ages to come out!
