Stolen dog in Scotland

Sorry if this has already been posted but I've just seen it and it doesn't hurt to get the message spread as far as possible:

Here is a link to the Facebook group: Link. Sorry, I know some of you don't have Facebook .

The description is:

Quote:
Please help spread the word and find missing puppy Mia. She went missing from her home in LANARK.
Description

Mia is a 12 week old Hungarian Vizsla who has went missing from her home in Kirkfieldbank, LANARK.

She has a birth mark on her leg and she is micro chipped.

We need her back with her family and mum Lola. ♥

Please help spread the word and keep your eyes open. If you see someone or a neighbour with a new puppy that looks like Mia please mention it on here and contact your local police station.

The more people who add this page, the better the possibility of getting Mia home safe where she belongs. Her owners are heartbroken and just want their beautiful puppy back.

Any info, or return of the puppy, no questions asked, to pc fiona miller at lanark police office - 01555 552400

I want to put an appeal out for help in tracing our friends missing 12 week old Hungarian Vizsla puppy. She was out in the garden with her mother on Friday morning around 11.30 and just disappeared. The family are distraught and are desparate to have her back asap as she is the one pup they kept from a litter of 8 that the mother Lola had recently. She is a very distinctive ginger colour with bluey eyes and has an equally distinctive brown birth mark on her right front leg. She is chipped so can be eadily identified by a vet. She went missing from Kirkfieldbank, just outside Lanark and we think that maybe a passing car has seen her and picked her up. She may yet turn up at a dog rescue centre but if you could please share this post with any of your friends we would really appriciate it. Any info please call Jim Miller on 07766 115244. Thanks and fingers crossed they get her back.

Why oh why do people leave their dogs unattended in gardens and outside supermarkets these days - it's just easy pickings.

I really hope this pup is found but I suspect it has been stolen to order.

Quite probably . Hopefully the fact that it has a distinctive mark and is micro-chipped will make it too hot to handle and it will be returned... and not just dumped . Poor pupster.
