Hi all,
I have the most adorable dog who was a rescue, found by the road with broken legs, missing teeth and a collapsed trachea. We've been together 10 years next April, and though I wasn't sure how old he was (teeth broken and all), I think he is around 10 now, less than a year when we found each other.

I am wondering if anyone else has seen a mix like this. I did a DNA test years ago, he came back cocker 50%, pug and yorkie about 25% each. If I figure out how to post a photo, I will. He looks like a maltese but is 30lbs. He has big round eyes, hair all over that gets cut every 8 weeks, and a curly bushy tail. Wet, his mouth looks like a cocker.

He is gentle as can be, always happy, growls only if we are playing, let's kids sit on him, take bones from his mouth, etc. Most laid back pooch ever. Has had some health problems, many stemming from the initial accident - probably hit by a car - and others like low thyroid now and bladder stones a few weeks ago.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone knows if this is a mix created on purpose or accident and if anyone has one also. He was found in rural Ohio, southern.

Have you a picture of him? Sound like he had a hard start in life so thank you for opening up you heart and home to him
I have heard that dog DNA tests are very unreliable so I wouldn't be to concerned with what it says. Sound like a great pooch!

He sounds like a wonderful dog! I would love to see some pics of him, and well done you for rescuing him in that state, gotta love a curly dog!!!

I was hoping to find someone else with a similar or exact mix, to compare photos, etc. I wish I could clone him, because he has been an excellent, perfect dog! Barks about once a year, never jumps on people. His only downfall is an addiction to garbage, and specific craving for egg shells.

Its only a guess but he looks like a King Charles X Bichon Frise to me..

He is so cute, and doesn't look like a 10 year old at all! I also think he has some poodle in him, gorgeous ears though
