Re: Shes gone ......

I am a newby here and just read of your loss. I am so sorry. We lost our beloved Rottweiler just last summer at the age of 4 1/2. After many trips to the vet and finally hospitalization, she died of phemonia. You are so lucky to have had so many years with your dog. We also lost a 10 year old Akita (stroke) and a 3 1/2 pound teacup poodle at the age of 16 last summer, so it was a very rough time for us. The only way I could stop crying was the 5 month old Rottie puppie that my hubby bought me. It sure helped to bury my face in her soft fur and get puppy kisses.... Your other dog would love a new puppy I bet. You will never get over missing the other one but a new baby sure helps......

Dear Renegade! It is always heartbreaking, and 19 years togather its a bliss! And those words: peacefully passed away - saying that she was not ill or suffered, just fell asleep and went to Rainbow Bridge.
