Yes bobby, Luika is quite badly cow hocked, hence he is on restricted exercise. At his age he should be having far longer walks, hence his frustration and mine!

He is coping extremely well however, and thoroughly enjoys his time at Barking Mad training. There he gets the opportunity to free run with other dogs. However, according to one of the vets within our practice, he should have NO exercise at all.

Well, the vets have given us very little information on cow hocks, so having searched the internet, I discovered hydrotherapy. This has really strengthened is back legs, but obviously its not a cure.

They are giving Luika an x-ray when he is castrated, but that is far as they have gone
