Oh Lily...

Remember that new nice clean dry forest walk we found the other day?

Well, we went there again this afternoon and look what happened:

They were only out of my sight for about 30 seconds, I called them back and that is what I saw coming towards me I had no idea there was any mud nearby, it all looked lovely and dry everywhere that I could see

It was really horrible stuff too; thick, sticky grey tarry stuff. I had to jet hose her when we got home but it wouldn't come off with just water so then she had to have a full on shampoo!!

Here she is drying off after her bath:

"what?"

"sorry mum"

much better!

Re: Oh Lily...

A forest never stays dry and mud free for long and the dogs will always find the muckiest parts

Looks like she had a great time

The thing is we haven't had any rain since I was there last week and it's bone dry on the paths and everywhere that I walked even off the main paths! There must have been a wallow off the track that they didn't find last time... but now they know where it is....

Branston was caked up to his armpits but it looks like Lily probably followed him in (he usually leads the way) and being that much smaller she must have face planted right in! It was so sticky and horrible I'm just relieved she didn't get stuck otherwise I'd have been going in there too!!!

Nice work there Lily! that is some pretty comprehensive mud bathing and suck a convincing innocent face after her bath. How angelic and clean she looks.
