Smile Another lovely walk (Pic Heavy)

This is my usual 'long' walk for the weekend

The trees are still hanging on to their leaves

Zipper waiting for his ball

Walking along the old canal

I rarely manage to catch them running together

Lilly running back

Zipper with his ball

Waiting for a treat - Lilly makes me laugh Zipper chases his ball, she runs about half way and comes straight back and expects a treat just like Zipper

The Autumn colours are still strong

Lilly checking out her surroundings - Zipper waiting for his ball

Sitting pretty

The view

The Beach - the tide was up so no sand to roll in for Zipper, so we didn't stay long on the beach

That is such a varied walk
Is there a lot of wildlife along the canal?

As long as he understands he'll be forever bossed around by a small grey mutt - Lilly is definately in charge

To the left there is a Bird Haven so the wildlife can run riot there without being disturbed. Along the old canal is popular with walkers so most of the wildlife is keeping a low profile. (especially when it hears Lilly crashing around )
I do see moorhens, fish in the water and lots of small birds in the trees and hedgerows.

You always take lovely pictures; and now I know who had the nice weather because it wasn't us .

Zipper's 'ball face' never fails to make me smile .

It was a lovely walk - and I love that pic too, I know it's not the best photo in the world but it captures my 2 little ones perfectly.

They had a great time, and I'm very lucky to have such a lovely walk so close. Only 25 minutes pavement walking and then we're onto the footpaths.
