"Seems to be the case" was where I got too as well. If so my objection stands but please let me know if you clarify it at all. Cheers.

Yes they do,they also actively support puppy farming,I am going to send them an email asking why they are objecting to it.They allow puppies with there papers to be sold in commercial outlets.

Well as you are someone who breeds Crossbreeds on a large scale and then gives them fancy names,of course you will object to any such move, as you won't be able to continue your "Non" ethical breeding,I expect the support will only come from breeders such as yourself.

Now now deary. No desire to get in a slanging match. My replies were "on-thread" and directed at what I see as the usurping of basic rights, whether or not you agree with them, by a non-accountable body.

Re: The DLRC have started a petition

so what would happen to the breeds that have never been kc registered
working collie, patterdale ,plummers .lurchers ,fox hounds ,non pedigree whippets to name but a few .are we going to loose our heritance and history ,just so ppl can continue line breeding/interbreeding kc stuff ,sounds like a dictatorship
tbh i cant see the point of it all ,how long has the pit bull terrier been banned in this country but they continue to thrieve ,so whose going to police it all

Who's getting into a slanging match
Simply stating facts unless I'm incorrect and you were telling untruths on the Pugs and Jugs thread.

It is from what I see a basic right to breed with knowlege and to breed ethically and responsibly,to breed dogs that are healthy. The DLRC do not encourage responsible breeding and allow puppies with their registrations to be sold by commercial outlets, which are known to buy from puppy farmers.
If they do go out of business then so be it,the GP won't really be missing out on much will they ?

They already do Janice,no other registration body is recognised in other countries apart from the KC.
Other registry bodies are worthless.

Re: The DLRC have started a petition
