She's started nesting & isn't eating as well as she has been, during the last 24 hours the pups have been very active so much so we could see them wriggling about while she was walking round, & she's huge bless her can't sit stand or lay down comfortably, & just looks fed up in general.

She's also very restless, & also looking shattered so the pups will probably arrive within the next 24-48 hours depending on how long she takes, Im just keeping my fingers crossed she can manage to have them herself, seeing as her previous owners have'nt replied to our requests to find out what the father of the pups was, they didnt even let us know when we took her she was or at least could be pregnant.

So far we've found homes for 5 pups within family & friends, but Im sure I could feel 8 last night, but I know we will find good homes for them all locally, so I can at least keep an eye on them.

Ive also been in touch with the NCDL & theyre giving me a voucher to have her spayed 8 weeks after she's had her pups to make sure this doesn't happen again! I still have to pay £30 towards it but £30 is better than £97!

Will keep you posted on how she's geting on.

theyre definitely on their way, but she wouldn't entertain the whelping box, & was looking for somewhere else had to line my biggest dog crate with cardboard & put a cover over it to make it like a den as she was trying to get under the bunk beds, she's got an old duvet & loads of towels & scratted them all to where she wants them & snuggled up in amongst them, refusing point blank to move.

She's been having contractions off & on all day so hopefully by morning we'll have them all here safely.

been up all night, so far she's had 7 but she's not finished yet!!!
4 girls & 3 boys, 4 black with white chest & nose, 3 brindle & white chested.

I thought I felt 8 two nights ago, but she still seems pretty round so there could be more than 1 still to come!

Exciting.... hope it goes well from here....cant wait for pics
