I know years ago my dad used to do his own but I never have pups with any problems so i dont know much about the rules and regulation for it.

its simply because they feel it is unnecessary to do so and would only do it if there was a medical reason to do so, such as getting them caught on things etc

some dogs have no problems at all with them but some are very lose and can cause a lot of pain so its a tricky one?
