Hi all,
After many frustrating online shopping sprees I've always found it hard to find pink accessories for my dog Rosie. So I've decided to start my own website featuring just pink dog accessories including bowls, beds, collars, toys and much more. Just thought I would introduce it to you all, and see if anyone had any thoughts or improvements! Here it is...The Pink Dog. Thanks for your time! |

Not that I am likely to be a customer, I must say your web-site is really well laid out. Nice clean design and easy/logical to navigate without too much Flash coding that clutters so many sales sites.
I really like the information tabs that you have written within each section offering guidance or measuring advice etc. very well thought out, but there is a few things that you might pad out the bowls extra information tab/section with, especially for the wet ears and anti-gulp type bowls. I can see this is a new operation and probably has taken a huge amount of time by the way I think you are coding this, a labour of love rather than a corporate money spinner. May I offer a few thoughts: Of the few "buy" links that I tried the pet-supermarket ones seemed to fail. I wonder if when you have tested them a session cookie from that site allowed you to see the item selected. If you use different browsers or a selective cookie delete tool and clear your cache during testing you can see what your potential customers experience on your site. Even though you are running as a 'click-through commission site' and working as an affiliate to other companies I think you need to register your domain as a trading entity rather than a private individual, your local trading standards office will be able to offer you advice on this matter. The difference being that you are not just reviewing or listing the items but taking a commission. Hope you do well and expand, doggie fashion is IMHO an area that seems to have a potential for small start-ups with motivated people to exploit, best of luck with your venture. Re: Introducing...The Pink Dog!
...dogs can not care about the colour of their collar, and thinking about how doggie accessories say more about the person that buys them I might see if I can get a pink collar/lead for when the girls walk the dogs.
He needs a coat for winter do they do "Pretty in pink" for XL sizes ? ![]() |

Re: Introducing...The Pink Dog!
I dress my boy up in pink.... It really confuses people. I like to think he's "metrosexual"
