Re: What a shambles!

Aaaw what a shame but I am sure terence had a great time anyway
We went to the park today and the first dog I saw was a staffy, so we made a beeline for it she was a lovely dog, when I spotted her she was doing training with her owner, so made sure the owner didn't mind a bouncy baby GSD coming to say hi. She was very polite and playful towards kiva which was lovely to see. I would just ignore the numpties they clearly dont deserve to be in terences presence

Re: What a shambles!

Aww I hate to say it, but having a Staffy, I think you'll have to get use to this kind of reaction Not everyone is so judgemental, but I have a RR cross with a Staffy (I think anyway!) and we get people picking up their smaller dogs as we go past and others thinking she's going to eat their kids. I spoke to another Staffy owner the other day and she gets it too. All you can do is laugh at their small mindedness! Try not to get upset or angry about it because you might pass that bad feeling onto your little pup and it could make him a little nervous or unsure. I'm happy to say though that there are plenty of more open minded people out there who will happily let their dogs play with a Staffy, I know I would, and most people at my local dog park would too

Re: What a shambles!

lol you'd never catch me running away from a staffy, i love them

At the Scone game fair this year we met the same staffy puppy 4 times throughout the day(he was TINY about 15 weeks i think the owner said) and he got so excited when Tummel decided to lie down and have a wee play with him while we all chatted

Tummel also had a go of the classic"lets bash each others heads with our paws" game with a gorgeous staffy bitch in P@H on Thursaday it was very funny as Tummel is very gentle with smaller dogs and the staffy was giving it everything she had

One day i will rescue a staffy(or staffy cross) as they're such sweet dogs and make excellent pets
