Dog illumination!

Now, I don't need Kilo decking out like Blackpool Illuminations but I took him out at 8 last night when it was getting dark and by 8.30 when I got back it would be safe to say it was dark. There is only one road in our little village so I tend to go across the road and onto the bridleways and fields and let Kilo have a run about offlead before settling for the night and would like to be able to see him in the gloom.

There are so many products on the market - do any of you use any? I am thinking a full collar as the lights that go onto the collar with the tags would probably be hidden a lot as Kilo is a very 'nose to the floor' kind of dog. He doesn't venture far from me (touch wood) but still...

True peace of mind....priceless. For everything else, there's Mastercard .

Re: Dog illumination!

My off-leaders all have the Visiglo collars - I really can't fault them, they're an excellent piece of kit. Really bright LED lights, they don't sink down into the fur on long coated dogs (not a problem for you I know!) and are very well made. Visiglo LED Dog Collar - Medium - £12.99

I have the flashing blinkers for the greyhounds collars, they don't go offlead but it lets others know we're there, and I wear one on my treat bag too. Pet Safety Blinkers

It's depressing that this time of year is here again already, ahhh pitch black soggy dog walks - can't say I've missed you!

They look pretty good; I have an abundance of illumination for myself thanks to my job - torches, headtorches, finger torches, glow in the dark bits and pieces . Thought of fixing something to pup's collar but the weight would pull it round and as he's always sniffing it would be rubbish .
