I think so although I am contemplating buying some baby alarms to make sure I'm not sleeping through anything, oh my word I'm sad! How do some people manage to get a pauppy and go to bed on the first night, I'm just too soft ha ha

I did the same as you and personally I think the bond with my dog is stronger for it. It's hard enough for the little mite to be taken from their mum and siblings. To then leave them alone in this strange place seemed a little too brutal for me.

Me too, and kiva was so young when I got her (5 and half weeks!) That I was worried sick I would do something wrong. I must of read through most of pf and everyone pretty much said that at her age I had to be surrogate mum, so that's what I tried to do. Anyway she is 11 weeks now and seems to be doing really well so I must of done something right
