Little Faker!

Took the boys out for 2 hours this morning. Fortunately/unfortunately we met a young chocolate lab who though Oscar was wonderful, and both dogs decided on having a game of chase, and to ignore all recall. Not exactly a great idea for an elderly, arthritic dog, but it will probably be the highlight of his week and id feel mean to deny him some pleasure in life.

He did look like he was suffering a bit for it, and has pretty much spent the entire day asleep either in his bed, or the armchair. Even refusing to get out for his afternoon hotdog, which i had to take over to him.

Well the little faker has me wrapped around his paws, as both boys have been going mental in the living room this evening.....

Re: Little Faker!

LOL - sounds like he's got you well trained, bringing him his hotdog
Good to see him enjoying himself - he can rest tomorrow (maybe)

Re: Little Faker!

No long term affects it seems.

Took him for a shorter walk first thing, and they are both now wrestling.

You'll have to excuse the duvet on the floor. But he does fall over a lot when playing, so the floor is padded to prevent injury, especially as he always hits it jaw first.
