there's actually black, cinnamon, red (covers all the shades including the golden colour), blue and cream chow chows 
I'm not sure which is most desirable though
I know you're asking people like Chowchowmum who actually have them 
I'm unsure about he dominant colour issue either I imagine it works like humans though
