Re: dog names ??

When we originally started thinking about a golden retreiver we were going to get a boy and would be called Bailey but when we decided on a wee girl I didnt wantcall her Bailey as I thought of it as a boys name Caiomhe is gaelic and means Beauty/precious/gentle and just seemed to suit her Its definately a talking point as its pronounced KEEVA so nothing like the spelling but I love it

Re: dog names ??

meanwhile back on the topic

I was convinced we were going to call our puppy 'Piper' because of beagles rather musical voices. Yet the moment we saw her at 5 weeks old I knew she was a little 'tinker' most definitely not a tinkerbell !

Re: dog names ??

Charka (Pronounced Char-ka) - she looked like a lump of coal when she was a puppy and in South Africa there are charcoals called Charka.

Kira - She was the 7th out of 9 pups, and Olivia Newton John (my dad's love haha) was the 7th out of 9 muses in Xanadu (film)

Kaizer - Named after a South African football team (not the band!)

Indiana (Indi for short) - state in america
