....reflective, high viz or flashing lights type collars, preferably with snap shut buckles, not belt type buckles. The OH has decided that as the pups like to go through thick cover, he'd like to have them more visible for when he takes them out after work in the winter.

The best value I have found are the yellow flashing armbands (for cyclists) in Poundland. They are highly visible, dog collar size, and attach with velcro which is secure enough to stay on, but come apart if they get caught up, so safe to use in thick cover.

I was going to say similar, I bought the other half, flashing armbands for running but tend to use them more for Beau in winter, no probs so far, cheap includes the battery and you have a spare if you lose one (flashing band not dog!)
