so took Martha for her 1st puppy check (we only got her yesterday), he had us run down our plans and what we knew, seemed very thorough until we said we are using Skinners puppy food, he was quite offended that we would do that to a happy little puppy, he called it punishment. has given us a trial of hills scientific...now a little annoyed but calming....what should i now do?


also he was annoyed at the fact Martha was given her second vaccination 2 days prior to her 10th week. he says that research has proven it wont be effective at this stage, and has recommended another vaccination between 14 and 16 weeks? so to ask and hopefully not offend...is this a money spinner or necessary?

I'm afraid I wouldn't have been able to keep my mouth shut, Hills Science is a money spinner, I don't rate it at all! I would ask around re the vaccination, they do differ, but I feel they're being very patronising and a second or even third opinion may help to make your mind up for you.

Dont know about the food, seems that your vet may have an interest in pushing the one he reccomended,
My pups always get their first shots at 8 weeks, with the second two weeks later. My vet has never said that there was anything amiss with this. Good luck with the pup.

I could only see took puppy to the vets and - rather than the whole title though

haha that would be stupid. my cousin's vet kept referring to her toy poodle whos a boy Oh what a pretty girl you are?' my cousin got pretty annoyed lol
