IT IS TWICE AS NOISEY !!!
IM SHOUTING BECAUSE SAILOR HAS A SPACEHOPPER BY MY LEFT EAR AND ACE HAS A SQUEAKY DUCK BY MY RIGHT EAR !!!
Apart from cost and more poop... I think the only real down sides are (that I have noticed soo far) tangled leads on walks, nerves of steel having to run and jump over gap on train (because you dont have a third hand to hold the door handle),a more intense greeting in he morning/return home, cant leave toys/food unsupervised just incase they fight, more time is needed to give each some one to one time for training/bonding, trying to get both dogs back on leads.. I still havent mastered hold one leash one

they can be a bad influence on each other and undo any recent training really quickly

you mention either name and they both get giddy and come running for a fuss
But I find all the above more entertaining then I do annoying, so I cant really call them downsides
As for the upsides!
They are friends and never alone, well unless I drag one away for some one to one time.
Training can be easier sometime, but only if one copies the other and learns by example (which Sailor does sometimes!).
Its lovely to see two dogs acting like dogs with each other all day long and not just having one dog lay down bored waiting for you to do something fun for them !
Watching dog - dog antics and how they interact with other in their own doggy body language is brilliant lol
Knowing your dog will always have a play friend on a dog walk is priceless.. no more stalking other dog walkers hoping they will let their dog play

etc etc
I wouldnt have more than two tho, because I know I wouldnt beable to cope and it would fast become a multitasking nightmare

I see others with more than 2 and I just think OMG you are super human ! lol
