Dogs entertaining themselves..:)

So as The title says..

Right now Bob is going mental over a marsh mallow.. I bought them days ago..the kids must have left one about and he has found it..

So he has it.. it is now very goey but he is playing the throw and pounce game and galloping up and down the stairs.. (Ive just vacuumed them and Bob).. So he is paying me back by galloping around with this marsh mallow and shedding hair everywhere..

I tried to get a shot.. But when ever I went near he sat ready to have his pic taken.. *the poser*

Anyone elses dog find things to amuse themselves with..

Oh yes I will add that yesterday he found something else to amuse himself with.. oh yes.. My glasses.. I went for a bath and came back to find them in chewed bits.. Lucky I found my old ones out..

Re: Dogs entertaining themselves..:)

Kenzie will do what you described if I give her things like a blueberry or a cherry tomato.

Today she entertained herself by making snow - luckily I checked on what she was doing before she could make too much mess

Mistyweather is on a distinguished road
Re: Dogs entertaining themselves..:)

Daisy is constantly bringing in sticks which she chews up everywhere and concrete, which she just likes to leave lying around on the floor. Quite normal I suppose, oh yes and pulling the stuffing out of toys but that must be REALLY normal

Re: Dogs entertaining themselves..:)

Millie is sleeping on my feet!!

After a walk in the park today (During the day as still on AL!!) and watching people with boisterous pups, struggling with pulling dogs (One woman holding onto the football posts to keep herself upright the dog was pulling so much!) and 3 people walking there dogs around the field on short leads and head collars I realised my Millie really has grown up so much in the last 6 months. She is 2 years 3 months now and I have even noticed some greying on her muzzle!!! Hubby calls it 'youthful colouring' as not to upset her!!

So yep my chilled girly has just had 15 min plod round to the post office with me and is now asleep on my feet. - Her favourite method of entertaining herself!

Lord, my lot would kill a fluffy toy in seconds, but oddly, not when next door.

Zak thinks he's a Labrador:

To entertain himself, he uses Brig as an obstacle, steals numerous trainers, (I had nine presented to me this morning before I caved and took them out), he rolls round ecstatically on the bed, steals whatever Bear has, watches TV, pelts round the garden non-stop or pings up and down the patio. If he's really bored, he gets a toy and pokes Bear with it until he joins in the game.

Brig doesn't need entertaining cos he's a grown up.

Bear stares at shadows and the light from iPad on the wall. Easily pleased! At the max, he'll chew on a toy til Zak nicks it.
