My oh doesn't like any kind of animal so I have really pushed the limits with a dog and a cat! He especially doesn't like whippets and greyhounds

my husband used to be the same...didnt even want 1 dog,now we have 6

I can see why he's cute, if it makes you feel any better about not being able to go get him he might not be cat friendly seeing as his ad doesn't mention him living with any. Hoping his owner is the sort to vet potential owners.

Yes I did think that, also may not be good with children. I am always cautious of ads like this as I rehomed a dog 2 years ago with the absolute promise that he was good with children, he tried to bite mine often so we only had him 3 days.
I would have thought he would have found a new home now anyway but I might just show the oh later!

Yeah it is risky, there's a lot of whippetx available in rescues if you manage to sway OH's view on skinny hounds.
