Re: 1 dog or 2?
I voted 2 but then i have 4, I'm always an advocate for multi dog households.
Having always had more than 1 dog i have never found any problems, 4 small dogs cost the same to feed as 1 medium breed. Agreed, it does cost more but i don't find 4 any harder than 1 or 2.

Re: 1 dog or 2?
They have so much fun together! An in return i get so many laughs due to their silly antics.
They keep each other company when im out. I find as long as they're well trained and exercised i don't notice the difference between four and one...apart from sofa space! I never get a seat ![]() |

Re: 1 dog or 2?
I voted two.
I have always had between 2 - 4 dogs at any given time. Quite honestly looking after and feeding two is no more time consuming and hardly any more expensive (unless you were very unlucky and had a big vets bill). One of the benefits is leaving them on their own whilst you go out for the evening, etc. as they have each other for company. |

Re: 1 dog or 2?
We have got 2 dogs.
I think 2 dogs aren't realy more work as 1 dog. But as Dogless already said, it depend on the dog's age, magnitude..... I think an other dog can't be bad. Sorry that this aren't solid arguments, but real argument for 2 dogs are for everyone something else. When I was trying to convince me parents to get an other dog I had looked in the internet for a good dog. When I had founded one I showd my parents the advertisement and asked if it wouldn't be great to have this dog. And now we have got two dogs. I'm not shure if this will help you but maybe.....

Re: 1 dog or 2?
i ONLY HAVE 1 AT THE MO, BUT WE ARE LOOKING FOR A RESCUE FEMALE TO (woops caps lock) get as a sister..... our current dog is a 9 month black lab, full of the joys of life, and I think someone to play with would be just the ticket..... and we get the feel good factor for having rescued as well
and I cannot see how it would be harder...... but we wont be rushing into anything..... ![]() |
