Which size crate & where from please?

Morning

I need to order a crate for our soon to be arriving Rough Collie pup, but firstly Im not sure what size to get. I was think either a 38" or 42" to last her into adulthood.

Also the range of prices are huge, £35-£45 on ebay upto £100 on some websites, even the pretty much all look the same! Is it a case of you get what you pay for or doesn't it matter too much? X

Re: Which size crate & where from please?

I am curious about this myself. I am ordering one tomorrow, probably from eBay.

We bought one off eBay years ago for our GSD and it was fine.

Re: Which size crate & where from please?

hi,get as big a crate as you have room for....if its just for your dog to be in for a short while at a time then really the cheap ones on ebay are fine....we have 2 that we bought from ebay and they do what they are meant to do...but i will add our dogs like to go into their crate and have no problem in them...but if you have a dog that gets upset in the crate (not trained to the crate) then i would say the cheap crates on ebay may not be strong enough...the best crate we have came from Dog Health — Welcome and nothing is going to escape from that crate.hope this helps you a little.

oh if you look at the link you want to look at the Professional 3 Door Crate...
