Raw Diet

Well after researching in depth about raw and speaking to our local petshop, who now stock pre packed raw we have decided from friday to give it a go

What i would like to know tho is Lola is 14 weeks and we are thinking of giving raw in morning and night and a small amount of kibble at lunch is it ok to give her kibble as well? not mixed with raw i may add

Re: Raw Diet

My understanding is that it is not ideal to mix raw and kibble at all. Is the food you're getting pre-mixed with vegetables?

I feed Bear pre-packed raw which is 80% raw meat and bone minced and 20% sea kelp, salmon oil, butternut squash, spinach, apples etc. etc.

Chicken wings are good for smaller dogs and green tripe is also ideal for a variation to the normal raw stuff. There's load of info available on the net.

I get Bear's stuff from these people:

Delivered frozen, just defrost and feed.

Re: Raw Diet

P@H sell pre-packed raw packets, I think they're about .70p for a 454gr pack. They have minced rabbit, chicken, lamb, beef, as well as hearts etc. Worth a looksie, although to be fair, most of my raw stuff comes from a supplier, with some things from our butchers, but I can spot a bargain at the supermarket at 100 paces if it's suitable for me dawgs!

I buy mine from landywoods and spend about £40 and that lasts about 3 months, i do buy the occasional thing in the supermarket when it's on offer, but this diet does not need to be expensive it at all!
