Cruel. As I said on the other thread, why the **** would someone want to degrade their dog in this way? I can't even see why people would want to put clothes on dogs (except for serious reasons such as a warm coat for a thin-coated dog in winter). I can see absolutely no reason for dying dogs or dressing dogs up. All it does is give the message that dogs are playthings for humans and that we can treat them just how we like.

FFS - if you have a yearning for something pink dressed in clothes, buy a teddy or something but don't degrade an animal like this.
Dogless likes this.

Re: Fur-jazzle...poor dogs.

I expected a sparkly, crystal covered dog too

I think its a bit daft but not cruel, its going to be a safe dye and for the dog no worse than getting a wash & blow dry at the groomers and they probably enjoy the extra attention (I've heard of dogs that love to wear hats because they associate it with lots more fuss), i guess the dogs have the advantage of not seeing the colour spectrum as we do.
