Red face Such a saddo

What a saddo I am, Im sat here feeling sooooo guilty and scared because Bella is going to be spayed on wednesday, I know its necessary and I want her to have it done I just wish I could skip forward to next week when shes back to her silly self and with a bit of luck shes forgiven me. Does anyone own a time machine and can I borrow it please?

Sorry my time machine is waiting for a new doowacky

But she'll be fine again before you know it, Kenzie was spayed last Wednesday and you wouldn't even know it now.

Re: Such a saddo

I had a lab that I had spayed a couple of years ago and she was back to her normal self really quickly.

She will be fine, I'm sure

Re: Such a saddo

Its a bit different but when meg had a cancer lump removed from her leg she ran up the garden 6 hours later before i could stop her and she was fine and that was a major op. When she was spayed she was twa*ing around the very same night, she will be fine

Re: Such a saddo

Don't worry the girls recover sooo much more quickly than the boys who tend to milk it for a few days. Just make sure the vet gives you some pain relief (some on here haven't had any ) and that she doesn't touch the stitches. None of mine have ever had a go at their stitches and the girls were more concerned at not being able to clean their bits than the fact they had a scar, so I took the collars off when they got home and kept an eye on them. I only had the collars on at bed time or if I was going out - which of course I didn't for a few days. Even the boys didn't touch their stitches.

Good luck and it's sooo lovely not to ever have seasons again - heaven!

Re: Such a saddo

No time machine sorry, but I can honestly say I know how you feel, I always think its because Unlike Ops that happen sometimes that we dont have a choice about neutering and spaying we do. I always feel the same, I always dred it and I always worry how they will be. So far they are always fine.

Re: Such a saddo

Not a saddo at all! I know I'd be bricking it if it was Prince, but you'll be on telling us how it all went well and wondering what you were worried about And as you say it's necessary, so you're doing the best thing for her xox
