Thank you everyone... and sorry about the scary "PTS" in the first line

didnt think about that !
This morning, both boys were up making a racket and waiting for a loo break ad pee! And now Im getting ready for another walk to fields. Not sure if the little girl wants to join us again this morning, but Im sure if she sees Ace walk past her house she will run out quick enough

If you want to try and get her used to dogs I wouldn't allow her to walk with Sailor yet if he is a bit bouncy, it could be too much too soon for her and it would be a shame to spoil any progress if Sailor frightened her (even though i'm sure he won't mean to!).
I also agree with whoever said he'd do well as a PAT dog!
Looking forward to more lovely updates..... although when I hovered over the thread title my heart actually skipped a beat - I saw 'PTS' and didn't want to open the thread!

The little girl actually asked to go with Sailor too and both me and her Mom said in chorus... are you sure ? lol
But she was adamant and kept her distance while Sailor ran about.
He kept running out to the middle of the field to look for other dogs and I called him back, gave him a treat, then got him to do a trick and sent him back out for a run. The little girl was laughing, espeically when he ran and jumped over my Daughter, who was lay on the field
The only times she looked and sounded scared, was when Sailor was running back towards us, because she thought he was runnning to her... but when she relised he was only running to me for treats and tricks she was ok.
We also only stayed for a few minutes to keep it short and sweet for her, despite her wanting to stay longer, bless
