It also depends on the breed. Breeds like Malamutes etc can be prone to same sex aggression.
I have 3 crossbreeds and went girl boy girl and had no problems at all.

You probably wont have a problem if you get another Chi. They are known to be clannish and tend to really enjoy each others company.
If you want another breed then regardless of size it had better be prepared to be the Chihuahuas' bitch!!LOL ![]()
