Collars

So...own up...I know that many of us on here have buying collars as our guilty pleasure (PG ). I cleared all my dog stuff recently and took it to the Dog's Trust so 'only' have three left.

A half - check that is Kilo's 'everyday' collar:

A fancy 'best' collar - the black and gold one and a webbing / neoprene collar for offlead walks and getting wet:

How many collars *truthfully* do you all own and why?

ETA: I have two leads - a black webbing training lead and a leather training lead!
Can anyone tell that I am trying to take my mind off stuff tonight by the amount of random posting? .

Sailor has .... one collar, one harness and 2 leads!
Ace has .... one collar, one harness and 2 leads!

I feel like an utter failure

Poor, poor deprived dogs . I think the harnesses count too...I just donated Kilo's to a member in need on here as he outgrew it so he no longer has one .

Re: Collars

Florence has 2 collars and 2 leads plus ones from when she was a puppy that she won't fit into anymore

Louie has 2 collars, a harness and 2 leads

I have about 6 spare collars and leads for fosters

I did used to do the whole 'wet weather', 'best', 'everyday' thing but OH can't get his head round it so ruined Florence's nice v.expensive collar from Harrods by letting her go in the river with it

Oh dear - remedial training needed for your OH .

I don't let him offlead in his half check as most of our walks are in woodland so would hate for him to get caught up - that justifies the webbing one!!

Re: Collars

Hehe, mine only have the one each lol.

Barnies got a leather collar with golden retriever shaped studs on it! Very posh! lol

And bellas got a purple 'tuffstuff' collar with my mobile number embroided on it

We've got a quite a few leads though but I only use a normal black lead for barns or a flexi and a double ended lead for bella that matches her collar, also with her name and my mobile number on it or a flexi

ETA: They have one harness between the 2 of them lol
