Non chewable dog bed suggestions please!

Good morning all!

Well I have now had Daisy for five nights and so far she has chewed up two dog beds and had a jolly good go at her vet bed which I am pleased to say is standing up to her attempts at destroying it! She has however now started to destroy the actual tray in the bottom of the crate!

Just wondered if anyone has any suggestions as to what I could use as an alternative? It needs to fit inside a large crate.

Thank you!

Re: Non chewable dog bed suggestions please!

Zipper destroyed every type of bed/bedding I bought.
He would chew holes in every type of bedding and destuff any thing that had padding.
The only thing I found he didn't chew was cheap fleece blankets.
And the good thing about those are that they are so easy to wash and quick to dry.
He now has a proper bed - but he was 3 before he stopped chewing/destroying beds.

Don't think I've actually found one and have lost count of the beds that mine have eaten/shredded and they're only 9 months and 16 weeks old. I've found the easiest thing is to buy cheap fleece blankets (got some from car boot) and just replace them as needed! They then wash and dry easily as they drag them outside with them and sit with them in their mouths for comfort.
I'll buy a better bed when they've grown out of the chewing stage!

Agree with what's been said. Cheap fleece blankets were the way for Indi. Two for £3 from Asda.
He doesn't chew them but they do get pulled out all over the floor so he can crawl under them.

Our vet bed is slowly disintegrating! but the cheapo fleece blanket from asda is holding firm! I would go with them all the way!

Zipper vet bed lasted 2 nights - he chewed a massive hole right in the middle
Everyone was really suprised he'd managed it
Definately cheap fleece balnkets are the way forward

Kuranda UK Dog Beds for Homes, Kennels and Shelters: Toy, Poly-Resin Bed, Green Fabric

The only thing that wasn't wrecked within days or taken out of the dogflap and massacred. Don't know if it would fit in your crate.
