Yeah that's a positive I suppose - better than just sending him on and not telling them in the hope he'll get homed quicker.

He used to be great with other dogs, i'm wondering if his change in behaviour was anything to do with him siring the litter.... but anyway, I suppose it doesn't matter now

I really wish I could find out who's having him and whether they're good enough or not.... and he isn't even my dog! I couldn't face handing my dog into rescue and not knowing what was gonna happen or where he'd end up

we had 2 ginger tom cats growing up and one of them Jasper was a cocky little git at the best of times, and when my baby sister came along he would pee in her cot, pram, bouncer chair etc we had to keep mosquito type nets over all of the aby things to stop him being able to jump in them and pee! luckily as she got older he calmed down and he was still around when i had my daughter and he would sleep at the base of her cot and stay by her constantly no one but me could get near her without him hissing and lashing out!!

I can understand that it happens; and no one minds a genuine rehome; but signing your dog over to the council pound who quite possibly have a destruct policy isn't really a caring rehome is it...

Didn't know the council pound was classed as a 'very good home' these days

thankfully he's reserved, he's DA so I couldn't have had him otherwise i'd have been on there to get him because he is such a loving, sweet, funny boy but as usual the baby came along and the dogs got the raw deal

and it's not the first time she's done it, I came across her other dog in another rescue last year as well this girl did an Animal Management course as well

She's nowt but a sefish cow!!!! Sorry to say that about you friend, although I can tell you're very unhappy with her at the mo as well. Some people just make me soooooo mad

I just hope that the people who have reserved him give him the good life that he deserves.

I know I couldnt do it either. It was just that when you said it was a council pound too I started to worry, There waas a post on here not so long ago where someone haad gotten a GSD I think that was too from a council pound and hadnt been told about that one being so not good with other dogs and they did have another dog themselves and it ended up having to go back.
Cant remember all the details exactly now, but I know they ended up having a very frightening experience and a lot of upset all because they were not told and the dog cant have been assesed properly.

Tempted to delete her from FB but I want to keep an eye out and see if she ends up getting another pup
