Re: nail trimmer -Pedi Paws

I was thinking about getting one when they first came out, but when I looked at reviews they were all bad. Mind you that was over a year ago, maybe they've improved it,the 've improved the price anyway - it was about 12 quid back then.

Re: nail trimmer -Pedi Paws

I have had one since they first came out. Only attempted to use it once and its been in the drawer ever since. Paid a lot more than that as well!!

I've got one. My dog loves it.
I introduced it with a clicker and we've never looked back.

Re: nail trimmer -Pedi Paws

I got one from ebay when Heidi was a pup. They come in 2 motor sizes. I got the stronger one but it's still not great. Doesnt grind to a halt (pardon the pun) but v fiddly to work with.

Mine is in the drawer too.

I now use OH's dremel. Much much better

Probably easier to use the pedi-paws with the plastic guard off and file straight onto the nail.

Perhaps if you arent happy with it you could return it? I am sure lots of people use them successfully and we are a minority

i'll give it a go i think..its only for his dew claws...normally i would use clippers, but his are black so not too keen...at least it wasn't the full price i was hoping Mave will let me have a go with hers...clippers are a defo no with her ...but, she will let me touch her feet and claws with my hands ...so fingers crossed
