Cheese works miracles with Craven.

what is it with cheese? Beau is the same, will do anything for it so I try to reserve as a special treat.

I can resist, the longing looks, puppy eyes and the waggy I love you so much so give me the cheese but when he does 'sitting pretty' I cannot resist, he just has to have a smidge

I reserve cheese for when I am going to ask a lot of him and he gets it very rarely. I am such a meanie that he didn't get any today; I never feed him when I am eating as he is so food obsessed that I don't want to encourage begging. Horrible owner .

Hard to resist those eyes though...so he did get a dog treat afterwards for a few simple exercises .

Sams (Beagle) favourite is a frozen cottage cheese ice cube in his KONG. When i go to get one from the freezer he will through every trick he knows at me to get it, Sit, Beg, lie down roll over repeat essentially he's saying "i'll do whatever you want if you give me that, just look"

yep, mines is also a cheese lover.

Tummel will do every trick he knows(including ones i've not taught him yet) for a morsel of cheese, heck even for a sniff he'll do the lot I've never used it as a training treat but will use a tiny bit at my mums to get him to show off he does get far too excited to focus properly though so it takes him a few minutes to realise i won't give him cheese unless he listens and does what i ask

Tummel's sad eyes are heartbreaking however i only get those when i put him in the bath(so not for a while now) and they are accompanied by constant upset and scared whines

His food eyes are the ones usually seen in the face on pictures i post as i have to lure him to face the camera...they're usually more curious and eager than sad i have such a clever dog

I have to resist...or he would be HUGE given the amount he would eat if it was his choice!!
