Re: She's Killing It !!!!!!!!!!

Apparently Dog Rocks work wonders, but I've never used them. They wont fix your lawn, but they'll stop then burning more patches!

Re: She's Killing It !!!!!!!!!!

Only ideas I've got is fencing off an area, training her to go in one place or hard landscaping.
I've gone for hard landscaping.

Give up and gravel, thats what I've done

Tomatoe juice is supposed to work, our lawn wasn't big enough for it to recover though.

Re: She's Killing It !!!!!!!!!!

I have just brought some spray you are supposed to spray on the wee as they do it; but not sure as I don't go out last or first thing and they know I am following them now!

Tomato juice I heard but do you add it to their food each day and how much (or apply it to the lawn )

Have started hosing mine down each night when watering the garden don't know if it helps yet, only moved in in march the garden was lush and green then, now its really patchy and brown.

Hmm I heard of the dog rocks but didn't want to be messing with things as at the end of the day its only a lawn?

We use dog rocks and it does not do harm to their system or i would not be using it. You can see the difference when they run out.

How do dog rocks actually work? My concern is that we never really know how the insides of our dogs work, ie. we can't tell if they have a heart murmur or something unless we go to the vet and they spot it usually.

Re: She's Killing It !!!!!!!!!!

my oh has actually got some form of education in grass (don`t as but he has the certificates from the college to prove it) and we were also using the most expensive grass seed ever which can`t be bought in shops along with the best sprays etc and nothing worked with our banjo, not even the rocks (which my oh laughed at me in the first place for buying as he knew they wouldn`t work ) in the end we just gave up as the areas she had destroyed would never grown back and to this day even though she`s been gone for over a year now and we`ve used a tonne of all the products he gets from work (the stuff the use on football pitches and golf courses), the grass has never grown back where she peed. i think that`s why my oh has fenced the new garden off so the dogs can only go into the patio and not the grass, i couldn`t give a toss but he loves his grass and jake`s pee ruins it too.
