I want to give Kira the best diet I can and was wondering what everyone else would use? I'm looking at a raw diet but don't know the best things to go. Any advice?

There are loads of threads in the health and nutrition section on here to help you decide - almost too many, the choices of food are a bit mind boggling .

I feed raw, but all foods have their pros and cons - I would just say that everyone who has a healthy dog will recommend what they feed as it suits their particular dog. All foods won't suit all dogs - you just have to find out what Kira does best on which is within your budget.

I have used various dried foods and at one point did feed raw. Dogs loved it and I enjoyed feeding it, but running a farm now, we tend to have pressure on our freezers for human food.

At the moment, my crew of 6 Ridgies are on Fish4Dogs and are doing well on it. Do you have a Ridgie at the moment, Malibu?

Yeah she's nearly 6 months old :-)
