Joshua is behaving like a proper dog!

For the first time in his life, and I am convinced it is the hydrotherapy. He has always been the perfect puppy, the perfect dog, waited for his food, never went to the door till invited. He wasn't trained like that, just happened, but I now feel that he must have felt a bit off for most of his three years, poor little love. Nowadays he tries to dive in before I have got his food in the bowl, he put his chin up on the worktop yesterday and tried to lick my dinner plate. And today he tried to dash out the front door! Unheard of!

He is walking like a proper dog as well.

He so obviously feels better. I shall have to start training him now, won't I?

As long as he doesn't start the puppy nipping and chewing up the furniture which he missed out on, I can cope! I just feel bad that it never occurred to me that he wasn't happy. Just thought how lucky I was, compared to Ferdie the demolition expert!

I have cut my smoking in half so as to be sure I can afford his swimming lessons, so that can't be bad. I can't see myself giving it up altogether, but it is certainly worth cutting down for my Joshua.

I don't want to go on about him, but this is such a big thing for me. A few weeks ago I was wondering how much longer I would have him, his legs were so bad, and now you wouldn't know there was anything wrong with him. It is so lovely to see.

Re: Joshua is behaving like a proper dog!

I am so pleased to read this as I felt bad having Flynn all better and there was you with Joshua in a bad way. I honestly could not believe the difference the first two hydrotherapy sessions made to Flynn, his leg loosened up almost immediately and he started using it normally, now six sessions later he has actual muscle build up because he can walk so much longer too. Keep up the hydro it really is the best thing since silced bread.

Give him a big bear hug from me the lovely boy.

I gave up smoking with Champix tablets eight weeks ago and don't even fancy a cig at all now, still taking the tabs though just in case. They are brilliant, have a look on a forum, just search champix forums, so many people have given up successfully with them. They can make you feel a little sick at first but sherbet sweets took that away. Worth a try, I feel six quid richer every time I leave Asda's now!
