Frontline...i thought it was meant to work :(

my dogs were all frontlined 3 weeks ago but now it seems they have fleas....today i have been bitten at least four times
Is there anything out there more reliable that frontline???
Its pretty maddening, for my brood its very expensive to flea them, and then for it to fail makes me angry

Re: Frontline...i thought it was meant to work :(

I have used Frontline with Molly since I got her with no issue, however, I treated her just over 2 weeks ago and she has been doing some amount of scratching in the last few days and I have had 1 or 2 bites. We are off to the vets tomorrow for her worming so I am going to ask what they recommend.

Yep same here, always used frontline with no problem...if you could let me know what your vet reccomends that would be great

We always use Johnson's 'spot on' flea treatment. Gets done every 12 weeks and we've never had a flea problem til recently. I think the fleas are becoming immune or something, it's driving me crazy.

Re: Frontline...i thought it was meant to work :(

Mine are all on Stronghold. Frontline is becoming much less effective as the fleas are becoming immune to it.

I use effipro which is the same as frontline and have no trouble with it. You may have a flea infestation in the soft furnishings in your house which is where the fleas are coming from. EggsFrontline only kills the fleas on animals, it does not treat your house. You may need to spray with a good quality insecticide to kill the eggs and larvae in the house.

Everytime i treat the dogs i also treat the house with johnsons household spray...i do around the skirting boards, sofas, bedding and everywhere i can...you see i have a huge phobia of fleas so i'm extra careful when it comes to treating my lot

Kiltix collars by Bayer work extremely well for fleas....at least for Cypriot fleas!

Johnsons flea spray is rubbish, Get one from the vets instead it will be more expensive but it will do the trick
