Been thinking for a while what I can do to help the two local rescues raise some money as I have not been/am not able to make it to the sponsored walks.


Then I thought of my dog portraits and come up with an idea....

Going and getting some pics of some of the dogs in rescue, especially the hard to rehome ones, and drawing them.

I usually commission so already have a buyer for what I am working on... but my gran has a small gallery in her house, and I have a good few places I can advertise so was thinking I could sell them at less than a commission goes for and then donating part of the money to the rescue the dog is from.


I have emailed one of the local rescues to see what they think and give them a link to my dog portraits FB page so fingers crossed they like my idea and I can get to spend some time with some lovely rescue dogs while I go and get the pics
