after the fiascos ive had with finding a good treat for Rocky ive just brought him his first stag bar and im silly excited for it to turn up and see how much he likes it!

I have well and truely learnt my lesson with rawhide, pigs ears and knuckle bones to the point i cant believe these are on sale in so many places!

fingers crossed for the stag bar and hopefully ive finally found a long lasting SAFE treat for him.

so thank you to everyone on here as without you all i would never have known the full dangers of the treats i was giving him and would never have found an alternative.

will gets some pics of him enjoying hhis new treat when it arrives.

also through my own experiences they did nothing but make my boy sick, and the knuckle bone knocked him out of action for 3 days plus costs of vet visit as i got seriously concerned about him.

Am I the only one with a dog who has no interest at all in a stagbar I was so excited when his arrived, and he just bopped it out of my hand with his nose and wandered off lol

what is a stagbar?? my dog doesnt like rawhide pigs ears etc so we struggle to find her anything she does like to chew

I got a load for my lot as i expected the cavs thought it was too much like hard work to chew them but the rest loved them

I bought a stag bar one each for Lola and Milo as they are ok for puppies too! So far Milo has had his and he had a good chew on it. Seem to loose interest after a while but im sure he will go back to it. I'm going to try Lola on hers tonight i think she will love it! I hope she will anyway as she loves the rawhide but i dont want to give her that anymore.
