Angry FOX POO ruined my walk today

just wanted to have a brief rant about poo. Lol. Took all four dogs on a lovely walk today, first thing in the morning across the park and then up to the fields and woods beyond. It was about 9:30 and I was heading back home when I realised Hettie, Florence and Louie were in the middle of the playing fields, rolling around in FOX POO. It smells so so so bad, like so bad you wish they had rolled in horse poo or something! So I spent about an hour once we were home cleaning them all up and they were wearing harnesses as well so had to wash them. All in all not a succesful ending to a perfect walk.

What has the ability to ruin a perfect walk for you?

Re: FOX POO ruined my walk today

Fox poop does it everytime!!LOL Its usually hannah out of my lot and she goes straight in the sink when she gets in.... But you can still smell it afterwards even after 2 shampoo and rinses.
What mainly ruins my walk is litter. Spending all your time scouring the pavement for rotten food, broken glass or cat poo.

Re: FOX POO ruined my walk today

Wash the dogs using tomato ketchup. Its the only thing that gets rid of the smell.

Re: FOX POO ruined my walk today

I'm not bothered about fox poo any more. I used to hate it when I had a car because the dogs always spread it on the journey home so I would have to bath them and then clean the car out. Now I just bring them home and give them a quick bath.

The thing that can ruin my walk is irresponsible or ignorant dog owners and know it alls who want to give me unsolicited advice.
