Getting my new baby on Sunday :)

I am very excited I am picking up my new baby, a 4 year old Collie x Lab called Frankie, on Sunday morning He is from a local rescue and absolutely adorable. The kids love him already, hubby went to see him this evening and really liked him. I haven't had my own dog for about nine years now since losing my Border Collie Tamba, before that I'd had at least one (or 4) dogs around since I was born. So, very excited to be getting another at last Never been without a pet as had cats and horses, but will be nice to have a dog again (although I look after other peoples daily it's not the same lol).

I'll post some pics when he's home

Re: Getting my new baby on Sunday :)

Ooo exciting times!! I was very excited before getting Dex, I pursuaded my hubby to collect him three days early from the rescue!!!!

Have fun with Frankie and hope he settles in quickly.

Oo, I just noticed you live in Plymouth (my hometown!!) Are you getting him from Gables then? Or woodside? Me and hubby used to visit Gables just to look at the dogs haha.

Re: Getting my new baby on Sunday :)

Aw thanks guys!! Sunday is nearly here Got him a new collar, name tag and lead (not that I need any more leads! I must collect the things lol!), hubby wants to go and buy his bed. Hubby went to see him last night and has fallen in love with him already.

I will be posting lots of pics

Oh an la468, he is from Woodside. My cat (I've had him almost 10 years now) was from Gables. I support both as much as I can, giving them prizes for raffles, food donations etc.

Moon, yes it is a great name
