Angry foxes!

i have had enough of foxes pooing in my garden
why o why does lexie think rolling in foxpoo is the best thing ever and why o why does foxpoo smell so revolting
i have washed her twice this week already and just had to resort to a thorough babywipe cleanse instead as i couldnt face a third wash when yesterday was her 2nd.
i am an animal lover but i have to admit that when i saw 2 dead foxes on our road recently my thoughts were "at least thats 2 less to **** in our garden"!

Re: foxes!

I was working on a bridge last weekend, within a few feet of each other, was a headless pigeon, a very dead fox and a dead rabbit! Perhaps the wildlife round there is a bit depressed!!

Re: foxes!

Tell me about it!!!

I spent £30 getting my darling bella groomed and looking fabulous. So on her next walk with me she finds some fox poo and while my eyes are averted for 1minute covers herself in it.

She had it on her ears, her neck, back, side and tail. I made her sit in the passenger footwell all the way home and she did have the decncy to look bashful!!!

Wash the dog in tomato ketchup. Neutralises the smell and gets rid of the stuff on the dogs coat.

can i put bowls of tomato ketchup out for the foxes to eat so that it neutralises the smell before they crap on my lawn?????

i do shiftwork and am pregnant so am keeping very strange hours through the night and i have never yet seen a fox or has the (extremely sensitive) sensor light come on or has lexie been woken by fox (she sleeps in her run outside when its not cold) so we are really baffled as to when these bliters come and do their business!!!

You could call pest control, they'll set traps and catch them. The down side is that these people then take the fox's to the countryside and release them. Urban fox's don't do well in the countryside and end up getting shot by farmers as they become a pest. A farmer friend of mine had 200+ chickens killed in one visit. (even with electric fences in place. Not nice as you can imagine. They were all pedigree birds and where being farmed organically. Local landowners then proceed to have a cull and every dog fox, vixen and cubs within a 5 mile radius are killed in an effort to sort out the problem. So then the rabbit population increases and they eat all the crops causing untold financial costs to farmers that are already struggling. Bring back fox hunting I hear you cry
